I was able to go as a sponsor with our middle school group and had a great time. We had 6 come to know Jesus and I would like to share briefly about one of them.
Thursday night while in our family group time I had one boy ask what it meant to be saved after hearing that two other boys had gotten saved. I told him that I would like to talk to him alone after group time. Due to another circumstance later in the evening, I ended up sitting with the boy while he sobbed on my shoulder. After getting him calmed down, I felt it was a perfect time to answer his early question. I shared with him the plan of salvation. When it came decision time, and he began to pray, then stopped and started crying. He then said that he didn't want to. I asked him if he could tell me why and he said no and asked if he could just go to bed. Not wanting to push anything I allowed him to go to bed after praying over him. The next afternoon several of us were wanting to get Faith Riders trading pins, so we made are way to the tent were they were set up. As we approached the tent, I noticed a biker talking to a couple of students on the curb. One of the students was the one that I had shared with the night before. At that moment on the curb that boy was asking Jesus to come ino his heart. All Praise to God!
